Fill out the Request Help form below if you have a disability and need information or help to protect your rights.

You can fill out this form on behalf of someone with a disability, but we will need to contact that person directly before we provide services.

Grievance Policy

Missouri Protection and Advocacy Services (Mo P&A) strives to provide quality services.

A person or their representative can use Mo P&A’s grievance procedure if they are not happy with our services. This includes people who:

  • Requested help from Mo P&A, but feel they were unjustly denied services

  • Are currently receiving help from a Mo P&A Advocate or Attorney, but aren’t happy with the help provided

  • Were receiving help from a Mo P&A Advocate or Attorney, but aren’t happy that help stopped

Every person that has requested help from Mo P&A will receive our Grievance Policy and Procedures in writing. Every person will also be informed of these procedures verbally.

If you need help filing a grievance against a Mo P&A employee, call the Administration Office at 573-893-3333 or the Application Unit at 1-800-392-8667. Any Mo P&A employee can help you, as long as they will not be involved in your particular grievance.
